Risk avoidance training for novice drivers: theory and practical exercises on slippery roads.
Theory: 2 × 45 min
Practical driving training: 1 × 45 min

During the initial slippery driving risk avoidance training, the student acquires knowledge about the time and space required to stop a vehicle, the risks of increasing speed, and knowledge of the correct longitudinal and lateral distance.

The training material for the slippery driving risk avoidance training is divided into two theory lessons and one driving lesson. The training must be completed before graduating from driving school, i.e. before the trainer issues a motor vehicle driver training course certificate.

The aim of the training on avoiding the risk of slippery driving is to create the prerequisites for increasing motivation to drive a vehicle at a speed appropriate to the road and weather conditions and with a safe longitudinal and lateral distance. The training explains the driver's options for stopping the vehicle at different speeds.

During the training, the dependence of the braking distance on the characteristic speed of the road surface is illustrated.

You must be at least 15.5 years old to start the training. You can register for the training on our website, by e-mail, by phone or at the driving school office. To register, you must present your identity document, a health certificate for the driving school (available from your family doctor) and 1 photo (3x4cm.)
