Blind spot training is part of driver training in the national curriculum for category B drivers.
The aim of the training is to teach students how to avoid dangers when driving in the dark, which novice drivers are more likely to encounter without proper training. During the training, the student will acquire knowledge and skills about the correct use of lights and the dangers associated with driving in the dark.
When driving in the dark, you must be able to choose a speed that allows you to stop the vehicle within visibility.
The rules related to the use of lights are acquired. The practical work demonstrates visibility when meeting an oncoming vehicle with different lights, when catching up with and/or passing a vehicle in front; what are the driver's options for taking action when noticing danger at different speeds;
how to make a vehicle standing on the road and people moving around the vehicle visible to other road users.
The dark driving course according to the national curriculum includes: one hour of theory instruction (45 min) one hour of driving practice (45 min).
You must be at least 15.5 years old to start the training. You can register for the training on our website, by e-mail, by phone or at the driving school office. To register, you must present your identity document, a health certificate for the driving school (available from your family doctor) and 1 photo (3x4cm.).
