Final-level studies determine whether the driver's knowledge, skills, and attitudes have developed to the level of sustainable driving.

Constitution of the Republic of Estonia: § 53.Everyone is obliged to preserve the living and natural environment
and to compensate for damage they have caused to the environment.

Traffic Act: § 52. Environmental protection requirements
(1) A driver may not harm the environment by excessive noise,
dust or exhaust gases caused by the vehicle's engine or other equipment that could be avoided.

Ozone depletion is a major problem worldwide, and climate change is already making its mark.

One lifeline on this path is reducing thoughtless consumption, raising people's awareness, and developing sustainable skills and consumption habits. More than a third of the total amount of greenhouse gases is generated by the use of transport. However, the majority of air pollution in cities is caused by transport emissions.

Reducing greenhouse gases is a task not only for large industrialized countries but for everyone, and everyone must participate in this process together. Although Estonia has already reached the level of international agreements due to the decline in its industrial production, we have no right to stand still. The process of limiting greenhouse gases must be actively continued.

In order to control fuel consumption in everyday vehicle use, alternative fuels have been explored, and when using conventional fuels, car manufacturers have tried to produce engines that are increasingly economical and less polluting. However, the engine is by no means the only and main factor in fuel economy – above all, it is the driver.

Eco-Driving is a driving style that is environmentally friendly, safer, less stressful and reduces vehicle maintenance costs. The aim of the project is to teach motorists an environmentally friendly and safe driving style. With today's increasing car ownership, teaching motorists an economical driving style is the fastest solution to reducing unnecessary fuel consumption and high noise levels. It is much more difficult to quickly renew our average 15-year-old car fleet with cars with more environmentally friendly engines, which ultimately does not solve the problem of reckless spending.
